Here are my business cards as temporary tattoos on my skin. The quality isn’t great and you do lose a lot of the imagine in these tattoos but overall I am extremely happy with them! I think they look quite real and are an amazing looking business card. It sill certainly be something that customers will remember but not only because it will be on their skin, but because it is so innovative. I have never seen a tattoo able business card and I think this definitely fits in with my brand very well and as a business card is the piece of stationary thats most likely to be seen, I am proud to show it off.

Luckily my tattoo paper has arrived today so I am able to print my business cards off as temporary tattoos and try them out! I am extremely excited about trying this as it is such a unique way of displaying a business card and it really fits in well with the brief.

Here is the business card with my design on backwards. Obviously it doesn’t look the best and very unlike a business card but hopefully we will see some good results when it is on human skin.

Finished Childrens Book

One of the suggestions I was given in my presentation was to improve my front cover a bit. A few people said it was too busy and a bit hard to read, and although I was going for this approach, I still need to make it so that it is clearly read from a distance. One member of the group suggested I should play around with the colour of the text and maybe add an outline to make it stand out against the background more. I took this into consideration and I went onto Photoshop and added a white outer glow to my text. This made the text a lot easier to read and there isn’t much difference visually.

Here is my presentation file that I presented to the group. I really liked this exercise as it gave me a chance to explain my work in an informal way and gain constructive criticism so I know how to better my work. In the presentation I was given a little bit of useful feedback and I am going to act upon this and try to make my designs better before deadline.
