For my mobile app, I opened up a new page on Photoshop, using the correct dimensions and I added the black background with the starry filter, just like I did for my website so I can continue to keep a nice style within each design. I chose to keep my layout simple on this app so when children use it they wouldn’t find it difficult to navigate their way around. Of course I kept the title and the Einstein graphic at the top, but I put the slower/faster relative part first so children would learn about that before they looked at the infographic.
Fact Website Finished!
For this website, I created a work path around the world in Photoshop so I could add text to it and it would curve around, giving it a fun and interesting look. With each bullet point I chose a different planet in our solar system, starting with Mercury and ending with Venus, and because I had one more fact and I had ran out of planets, my last bullet point was the Einstein vector.
Einstein’s Life
Whilst searching the internet I came across a cool website that had 20 interesting facts about Albert Einstein. I thought these were all very informative and I learnt a lot about his life so I thought I would incorporate these facts into my website.
Einstein Information Website Layout
Creating the fun facts about Einstein website, I had an excellent idea to create an image of the world and writing facts around it. I didn’t want to just have a boring image of the world however, I wanted to make it look exciting for the children looking at it. I got an image of a cracked texture off of the internet and took to Photoshop to experiment with it. I had some help from an online tutorial but after applying a copious amount of filters, layers and textures, I created something that I was quite proud of. Now all I have to do is find some cool facts about Einstein and add them into it. I’m going to try and curve them around the world to make it more visually stimulating.
Finished Website
Here is my finished website! I am extremely happy with the turnout as it looks how I originally set it out to. It’s appealing to children, there is a nice space theme throughout and it is informative yet fun! For my mobile version I am just going to use the same components for my website, but by changing the size and the layout it will keep with the same style and will hopefully look good in context.
