Here is my finished business card. I really like background of the tattoo on this. The one problem I have had is getting rid of the dot work around the octopus. I am very unhappy that it is just plain around the octopus, it doesn’t look right and I feel it would look a lot better if I was to put something in place of it instead. I am going to experiment with a few ideas to try and improve it.
I only made a very basic letterhead as I wanted to focus my time on making my business card. However I made this little one as I wanted to experiment with some more geometrical patterns and overlaying them. I used a pattern behind my type and changed the opacity so it wasn’t so in your face and then added a banner on top. I really liked the difference between the two patterns and the contrast they create.
